“These storms can be violent with strong rainfall intensities, locally reaching 80mm in a short time, with hail, and strong gusts of wind in the order of 80 to 100km / h. Eddy phenomena are also possible”, precise Meteo France in sound alert.
Gusts of more than 100 km / h were recorded in Saint-Mandrier, while the department is placed on orange vigilance for rain-flooding and thunderstorms until 8 p.m. this Wednesday.
