Halo Infinite – Alpha Pack Event Begins

Following Interferencethe event Alpha Pack starts today with key cutscenes and cosmetics.

Cosmetic content and cutscenes

This two-week storytelling event, which takes place from July 19 to August 2continues the story of “Lone Wolves”, season 2 of Halo Infinite. Alpha Pack brings new cutscenes and a free 10-tier event pass featuring new cosmetics for your Spartan that can be unlocked by completing event challenges, with Last Spartan Standing for central playlist.

The cutscenes (one when you first load the pass and one after finishing the 10 challenges) will complete the narrative aspect launched by Interference.

Game Mode Changes

And to the playlist Last Spartan Standing is still the only playlist of the event, this time it will be playable on the four maps of the Big Team Battle (Breaker, Deadlock, Highpower, Fragmentation). The various loadouts in the mode have also been adjusted and a new one has been added.

The danger zone has also seen its behavior altered: until now it started to tighten after 5 minutes 25 seconds of play or as soon as the players present no longer had bonus respawns. With the new version of the mode, the conditions for shrinking the area are as follows:

5 minutes have passed since the start of the game
No more players have respawns
There are only 5 players left in the game, regardless of their number of respawns

Finally, the events affecting XP points have been slightly modified: neutralizing an enemy AI now earns 500XP instead of 300, and the self-destruction of a player (falling off a map or death via Breaker’s laser ) no longer apply a penalty of 100XP.

Any player logging in will receive the nameplate and badge Angry Unleashed on their first connection. The shop of Halo Infinite will also be updated with new cosmetic elements, such as the CAMBION helmet.
