The Palestinian Hamas movement condemned on Friday the Israeli forces’ targeting of displaced civilians from the northern Gaza Strip to the south. She said it was a “criminal fascist” act and a “disgrace to the international community.”

The Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip confirmed that there were martyrs and wounded as the Israeli army targeted displaced Palestinians in the Gaza Valley, while they were heading to the south of the Strip.

The movement said in a statement published by the movement on Telegram: “The occupation’s massacre against the displaced on the Salah al-Din Road (east) and in the Buraq School is a disgrace to humanity, and our people will not be defeated by this criminal fascism.”

She considered that “the occupation’s killing of more than 50 martyrs in these massacres and its continued perpetration of more crimes, in front of the world, constitutes a disgrace to the international community and humanity as a whole.”

This is not the first time that displaced persons from the northern Gaza Strip towards the south have been subjected to Israeli bombing while they were using the displacement corridors declared by Israel.

Last Monday, the government media office in the Gaza Strip reported reports that there were bodies of hundreds of displaced Palestinians on roads that Israel had declared “safe” towards the south of the Strip.

He said in a statement via Telegram: “We have received dozens of reports and appeals about the presence of hundreds of bodies of martyrs in the streets in different areas of Gaza City who tried to go to the alleged safe passage and who tried to take refuge from the raids last night (Sunday-Monday).”

This came after the Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, renewed his warning to the people of Gaza and asked them to move towards the south “for their safety,” as he claimed.

For 35 days, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, leaving 11,078 Palestinian martyrs, including 4,506 children and about 2,918 women, and wounding more than 26,000. 183 Palestinians were martyred and 2,280 were arrested in the occupied West Bank, according to official sources.
