Vienna – 35 years ago, Oscar Bronner founded STANDARD with the aim of establishing a liberal and independent quality newspaper in Austria. The first issue appeared on October 19, 1988, and next Saturday DER STANDARD will celebrate its 35th anniversary with an extensive anniversary issue.
