Bangalore: Two more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Bajrang Dal activist in Karnataka. Rehan Sherish and Abdul Afnan, both residents of Shivamogga, were arrested by the police today.

Police have so far arrested eight people in connection with the case Done. At the same time, the Karnataka Home Minister said that a number of organizations were involved in the killings and were examining the financial dealings of these organizations.

The right to wear the hijab falls under Article 19 (1) (a), not Article 25. “If a person wants to wear the hijab, there is no restriction ‘subject to institutional discipline’,” Nawadgi told the Karnataka High Court.

In this case, the wearing of the hijab inside educational institutions is restricted. It is not forbidden to wear hijab anywhere else. The Advocate General argued that wearing the hijab was a fundamental part of the religion, and that it had a coercive nature, giving the impression that those who did not wear it were out of the community.
