Hatta Honey Festival has started. The event will be held at the Municipality Hall, Hatta. The seventh season of the festival is in progress. The fair will last till 31st of this month. (hatta honey fest)
This year is the seventh season of the fair organized with the objectives of promoting the honey trade sector in the UAE, providing necessary assistance and helping the citizens to trade. Honey from the UAE and Oman has been exhibited at the fair held at the Hatta Municipal Hall. Dubai Central Laboratory is also functioning here.
Alia Al Harmoudi, Acting CEO of Environment and Health and Safety Agency of Dubai Municipality, said that the festival will showcase the specialties of honey production in the region. Around 50 Emirati bee farmers are participating in the festival this year. Various tools related to beekeeping are also on display. The festival will be held from 9 am to 8 pm and will end on December 31.
