An eight-year-old child was getting off the bus, avenue des Arènes when he was hit by a motorist. The driver is on the run.
It is nearly 10 p.m. on Friday, December 30 when a mother and her two boys get off the bus near the Intermarché, avenue des Arênes in Balma. The young woman holds one of the little ones by the hand and crosses the pedestrian crossing. The other child is a little behind.
In the middle of the road, this 8-year-old child is hit by a car. According to witnesses, she was driving at high speed. His mother screams and calls for help while the driver flees under the dumbfounded gaze of the bus passengers. Miraculously, the kid comes out of it only with a nice scare, a few scratches and dermabrasions.
The gendarmes of the Toulouse-Saint-Michel company are actively looking for the motorist. Last I heard, he did not report himself to law enforcement.
