More than 1300 people took part in the subbotnik today! This was announced by Akim of Karaganda Meiram Kozhukhov. Today, April 8, the city hosted the first citywide subbotnik. Earlier, the head of the city urged the townspeople to unite and put their yards in order.
“All employees of state institutions – civil servants, colleagues working under a contract, technical staff, drivers have worked actively! Utility companies and contractors also took part in cleaning up the territories! Thank you to everyone who did not stand aside,” says Meiram Kozhukhov.
At the end of his thankful address, the head of the city turned to all the townspeople with the question: “Have you cleaned your yard?”
