It’s been about five years since the PC version of the previous PvP robot fighting game HAWKEN ended its service in January 2018. It has now been revealed that it will be revived as a PvE game. Early Access is estimated to take about 18 months at this time. 9 Weapons, 6 Missions, 5 Mechs, and 1 Player at the start of Early Access. The basics of the game are in place, and the first story missions, starting mechs and weapons can be obtained. We will also be introducing free content updates with new features and optimizations during the Early Access period.
Co-op multiplayer will be implemented in the official release
The game is currently in Phase 1 of its early access plan, where they are optimizing the gameplay and combat experience, including elements such as UI and enemy interaction. We will continue to develop the game while incorporating feedback from the community, and will move to the next planning phase of unlocking additional content once the major foundations are in place.
After Phase 2, we plan to provide free updates with new missions, new mechs, and other content to enjoy. The official release will bring the next chapter with co-op multiplayer, new content to explore and collect, and an epic story.
“HAWKEN REBORN” is free to play and PC (Steam) will be available for early access on May 17th.
