The stable version of Windows 10 22H2 was released in October 2022 and was made widely available a month later. Lead Product Manager for Windows Maintenance and Delivery Jason Leznek says:

The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all editions will continue to support monthly security updates until that date.

It is highly recommended that you transition to Windows 11 now as there will be no additional Windows 10 feature updates.

Microsoft recommendation for those yet to keep their Windows 10 PCs

Microsoft recommends that users and businesses that decide to stay on Windows 10 install monthly security updates by October 14, 2025, the date on which Windows 10 reaches End of Support (EOS). According to StatCounter, more than 73% of all Windows PCs are still running Windows 10.

According to Microsoft’s announcement last Thursday (27), the release of updates for Windows LTSC will continue even after the EOS of Windows 10, which will occur in October 2025. The LTSC editions of Windows 10 will reach the EOS only in January 2027, with the exception of the IoT Enterprise edition, which will be supported until January 2032.
