This Sunday, Javier Casetti appeared at Got Talent Argentina and he said that life gave him a second chance to continue doing what he loves so much. The 63-year-old from Mendoza revealed that he had two heart transplants and talked about how important it is to donate organs.
“I am opening a new heart! That it is rather my third heart ”, Javier commented in his presentation. To everyone’s shock, the multi-instrumentalist said that he was transplanted for the first time 18 years ago and last year he had to undergo surgery again due to “a complication.”
“I was lucky enough to have a second transplant, which is not easy. I am celebrating nine months with my new heart and I am honoring that wonderful donor who made it possible for me to be here. And to all the donors in the world!” Casetti said.
For his audition, the musician (who discovered his passion for music playing on the streets of Europe) performed the song Englishman in New York by Sting solo with his clarinet.
“I think it was very good. Well chosen song, nice what happens to you when you play… It was super fun. I loved it”, exclaimed Abel Pintos.
“I lived your communion with the instrument with a lot of love,” commented Flor Peña, to which La Joaqui added: “I thought it was spectacular. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us.” In the end, the jury gave him four “yes” and Javier went on to the next stage.
