A van carrying a car with another vehicle starred in a spectacular overturned on route 237 a few kilometers from Villa El Chocón. The incident occurred after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and fortunately he should not have regretted any serious injuries.
“The Toyota Hilux in which two men were traveling had a cart attached to it that loaded a Volkswagen Amarok”confirmed to BLACK RIVER Commissioner Inspector Sergio Vega.
The exact point of the rollover was at kilometer 1286 to 10 of the entrance to the tourist village and according to what the driver of the truck said at the time of the incident “a strong gust made him lose control” of the vehicle and the trailer.
“The damage was only material” the commissioner said. The National Gendarmerie acted in the place and despite the spectacularity of the overturning, fortunately the occupants are in good condition.
The event occurred during a yellow alert for strong winds in the province. In Neuquén capital the strongest gust was 67 kilometerss, however other areas of the territory exceeded that mark and generated some problems.
