Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)–If you want to enjoy a more healthy Ramadan, that doesn’t necessarily mean you should not eat the foods you love completely.
The official account of the Gulf Health Council confirmed in a tweet on “Twitter” that healthy food does not mean deprivation.
And when it comes to sweets like Luqaimat, for example, you can stick to a few steps to make them more healthy, which are:
- Use honey instead of artificial sweeteners that are full of sugar
- Use almond milk, or low-fat milk while preparing Luqaimat
- Eat lokumat in moderation, and do not overdo it
