Rabat – A heat wave with temperatures varying between 40 and 48°C is expected from Monday to Thursday in several provinces of the Kingdom, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced on Sunday.

Thus, the temperatures will oscillate between 46 and 48 ° C in the provinces of Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem, Tata, Taroudant, Assa-Zag and Es-Semara from Tuesday to Thursday, indicated the DGM in a meteorological alert bulletin from red vigilance level.

In addition, temperatures ranging from 40 to 45 ° C will be recorded on Monday in the provinces of Ouezzane, Fez, Meknes, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, El Hajeb, Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem, Khemisset, Fquih Ben Salah, Béni Mellal, Khouribga, Khénifra, Benslimane, Nouaceur, Berrechid, Settat, Sidi Bennour, Youssoufia, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Chichaoua, Rehamna, Marrakech, Errachidia, Zagora, Tata, Taroudant, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara and the interior of Larache, Kenitra , Oued Ed-dahab, Aousserd, Salé, Skhirate-Témara, Safi, Essaouira and Guelmim, the DGM said in another orange vigilance level bulletin.
