Amstetten – Heavy rain challenged the fire brigades in Lower Austria once more on Thursday evening and on Friday night. One of the hotspots was in Amstetten, where, according to the district command, parts of a downtown hotel were under water. The helpers had to move out to pump out work in the districts of Gänserndorf, Hollabrunn and Bruck an der Leitha.
