The helicopter landed at Kochi Panangatte swamp on April 11 last year. One year later, the tender was called and the helicopter was sold.
The four-year-old helicopter can carry up to six people, including the pilot. It is worth around Rs 50 crore. The helicopter is currently in the hangar of Kochi Airport. The helicopter is being sold as part of an insurance settlement process.
The helicopter is not in a flying condition. Helicopter parts can also be sold separately. Officials say it can be repaired and made usable even though it is not in flying condition now.
