Studio Ninja Theory timed for Earth Day publication new screenshot of the future action movie Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. This is a panoramic image of Iceland’s Djupaloonsandur beach, which was previously shown in gameplay trailer. This time with the date: over a thousand years ago.

Djupaloonsandur Beach, located on the Snaefellsnes peninsula, looks incredibly atmospheric due to the fact that the whole is covered with black pebbles. Huge boulders are scattered on the beach, and in the old days, fishermen measured their strength with their help: only the one who lifted a “half” hundred-kilogram stone could get a job as a rower on a boat.

Ninja Theory created the impressive art of the black beach using photogrammetry. And Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is being created on the Unreal Engine 5. There are not many other details about the game so far.
