Arrowhead Game Studio has released the launch trailer for Helldivers 2, a cooperative shooter that will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC.
It is described by the studio as a frantic third-person team and cooperative shooter that will have players fighting for freedom in a hostile galaxy with alien insects.
The trailer shows elite space soldiers facing off against alien insects with heavy weapons. The video features confrontations full of action, explosions and also a few hints of humor. Check it out below:
In Helldivers 2, players will need to face the alien scourge that threatens the safety of their home planet, known as Super-Earth. They will take on the role of an elite soldier whose mission is to spread peace, freedom and democracy across the galaxy with the greatest weapons possible.
In addition to having powerful primary weapons and personalized arsenals, it is possible to call other Helldivers as reinforcements. However, teamwork will be essential to reach the end of the missions alive, which promise to bring enemy hordes and epic conflicts.
Another highlighted point is that despite bringing frenetic action, friendly fire is activated. So, the player will need to think twice before unloading his arsenal irresponsibly against the enemy hordes, potentially killing his entire team in one wrong move.
Helldivers II will be released in February 8 para PlayStation 5 e PC via Steam.
