In 1991 she graduated from high school and moved to Vienna, where she studied comparative literature and German with Wendelin Schmidt-Dengler. “I didn’t just like him in terms of Heimito von Doderer or SK Rapid, I really adored him.” He didn’t have to stop her to read more because the parents’ bookshelves were well stocked. “But I would have avoided one or the other Schiller without him!” She still prefers to read printed matter, but she also has an e-book reader.
