The seven-part seminar series “Help with helping” in Denkendorf is intended to support and strengthen relatives and other people who care for people suffering from dementia in the care and nursing.
Appropriately caring for a person suffering from dementia is a major challenge and often pushes relatives and other caregivers to their breaking point. The “Help with Helping” course, which the town of Denkendorf offers together with the district’s social psychiatric service for old people (SOFA), is intended to give caring relatives the tools they need for their difficult everyday lives. At the same time, there will be room for mutual exchange in the seven events in addition to the content-related impulses on various topics relating to dementia.
