Here are the best portable printers of the moment

The Instax Mini Link 2 uses Fujifilm’s Instax Mini film. The Mini Link looks great, with cool color options and a cool feel.

It connects to your phone via the Mini Link app and Bluetooth, and can print photos from your phone’s library and your social media profiles.

From the app, you can choose frames and other options, including split prints (separating a photo into two prints) and collages. Edit photos in the app, too, with color filters and dials to change brightness or even contrast and saturation.

The printer has a speed of regarding 12 seconds per print, it supports continuous printing and can print up to 100 photos on a single charge. Photos are clear, crisp and vibrant on Mini film, and following printing, a convenient button provides a second copy instantly.

Some fun options include the Compatibility Test, which prints a photo with a compatibility score between two people. There’s also the InstaxAir feature which lets you draw patterns in the air on photos, but that can be a bit fiddly to use.

The printer can also act as a remote control for your smartphone camera, tilting it back and forth to zoom.

Overall, this is a solid and fun model even if it’s not as cheap as the first Instax Mini Link.
