Here are three adults-only hotels in Florida

You know Florida a little, moderately, a lot… You decide to think outside the box and you want to do something a little crazy! Treat your loved one to a romantic Florida getaway. A romantic trip to adult-only hotels! Of course, these are not XXX hotels but rather quiet establishments where you won’t hear a child crying in the pool, no crying in the dining room, no shopping in the hallways, and no one to “do the bacon”, that is to say howling until you get the coveted object. You will be able to enjoy the spa, the swimming pool, the restaurant and the gardens without any stress, it will simply be bliss. Here are three hotels for adults only, to add to your book of good addresses.

The Standard Spa Miami Beach

Miami Beach

Who doesn’t love spending a day as a couple at the spa, in addition to enjoying cozy rooms to recharge their batteries? This is what awaits you at the Standard Spa Miami Beach, an adults-only boutique hotel 10 minutes from South Beach, precisely on Belle Isle, a small island in Biscayne Bay. The hotel, established in an old building from 1953 in the art deco style, formerly the Montery Motel, then later the Lido Beach Spa, is part of the very trendy hotel chain The Standard which also has a storefront in New York, London but also in the Maldives, in Ibiza and even in Hua Hin in Thailand.

Miami Beach

The National Hotel dating from 1939 and freshly renovated in 2021 also welcomes adults only. Located by the sea, in the heart of the art deco district of South Beach, it is one of the only hotels to have preserved the authenticity of this style. You can choose from the hundred rooms in the main tower or for one of the 36 cabins (cabanas). These are located in a four-storey building overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. Moreover, one of the attractions of the National Hotel is its grandiose swimming pool, over 62 meters long, which alone is worth the trip. This infinity pool nestled among palm trees and bougainvillea is the longest in Miami Beach. Finally, the establishment offers two bars and three restaurants, including the renowned Mareva 1939. Its menu is inspired by typical Spanish dishes with a varied choice of paellas and tapas.

The Bungalows Key Largo offers 135 bungalows, many of which are located by the sea

Surprisingly, the Bungalows Key is the only all-inclusive resort in Florida, and is for guests 21 and older only. One hour south of Miami in Key Largo, this resort features 135 900-square-foot bungalows with private verandas and outdoor tubs and showers. In addition, there is an exercise center, two swimming pools, a spa, five restaurants including a restaurant/bar tiki from where you can admire fabulous sunsets. The private beach with turquoise waters and the lush gardens with majestic coconut trees make this place a true Eden in the tropics, perfect for a romantic stay. In this kind of formula, we will not be surprised by the very long list of activities offered in addition to entertainment. For an additional fee, excursions are offered for diving or fishing or even by catamaran, sailboat and even seaplane to visit the neighboring islands. In the evening, we sway to the music of a DJ live or else, we loosen up while shouting at karaoke.
