Here is the new boss of Nethys, who takes over from Renaud Witmeur

Nethys’ Board of Directors has just appointed Grégory Demal as Chief Executive Officer. He will therefore take over from Renaud Witmeur, interim CEO.

“This appointment comes at the end of an open and objective procedure launched last February. Grégory Demal is now a member of the Management Committee of the FSMA (the financial market regulatory authority, Editor’s note)”, specifies the group, after a council meeting held this Wednesday morning. The appointment was made unanimously, we also learn.

“Remarkable work”

“The criteria which governed the choice of Grégory Demal are in particular his ability to develop a strategic and societal vision for Nethys, for the benefit of its public shareholders, his interest in the development of the Liège region and his attachment to the general interest, his experience, as well as his managerial and financial capacities”, specifies Nethys.

“The Board of Directors deeply thanks Renaud Witmeur for the remarkable work accomplished since October 2019”, adds the group in a press release.
