Oppo’s new product manager, Pete Lau, co-founder of OnePlus, tweeted where he shows what seems to be the hinges of the future Oppo Find N Fold and N Flip.
It’s been buzzing loudly among Samsung’s competitors since the launch of their new folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 et Z Flip 4. Motorola et Xiaomi announced new hinged models the day after the Galaxy Unpacked. But if neither of the two, neither the Motorola Razr 2022, nor the Mix Fold 2 should be released in France, a third brand would soon try the adventure on a global scale. This is Oppo.
The first rumors already reported an exit outside the borders of China for these Oppo Find N Fold et Find N Flip, of which we don’t know much except for the overflowing inventiveness that the design of their names must have required. But this Friday, August 12, a tweet confirmed the ambition of the Chinese giant on the foldable market.

Its author is none other than Pete Lau, the co-founder of OnePlus, now Oppo’s product manager. He writes: “What do you think? ????”, accompanying his question with two photos showing hinges.

If it is currently impossible to draw the slightest conclusion, we can however point out that each shot seems to show a hinge of a different size. This would support the thesis of a Fold and a Flip.
After theOppo Find N toured Western newsrooms, in France and elsewhere, this first teasing can undoubtedly be read as the start of hype around future Oppo-style folding folders. It would be the first Chinese manufacturer to dare to oppose Samsung on this ground. It goes without saying, we obviously look forward to witnessing all of this.
