This was one of the measures put forward by the federal government to offset the impressive increases in energy costs. The fuel oil and propane check, the amount of which was initially planned for 200 euros and was revised upwards last May to reach 225 euros, is officially launched this Thursday. This single allowance should help 41% of households in Wallonia.

From this Thursday, individuals can submit their request, via an online form on the FPS Economy website (download below), or a paper form available from its supplier, the municipalities and the FPS Economy.
To verify that a single application has indeed been submitted for the main residence, a series of data must be entered such as its address and its national register number. A copy of the invoice and proof of payment must be provided.
