Die Hertha-Preparation in Florida picks up speed!
On Friday morning, coach Sandro Schwarz (44) had his team line up at the IMG Academy in Bradenton – and then sweat for around 90 minutes.
In the blazing Florida sun, the coach practiced attacks with a majority and goal completion. Schwarz puts the focus of the first days of the training camp on the attacker: “We have our friendlies on Sunday, until then we’ll take care of the offensive game. The focus is on the transition to the last third. We want to develop a goal threat.”
Striker Wilfried Kanga (24) brought this with him: In the final game for two goals, the attacker, who came to Berlin from Young Boys Bern in the summer, scored three times in a row with his first shots – Kanga shoots hot for the second half of the season .
Good for Hertha: After the departure of Davie Selke (27), Kanga is now the undisputed number 1 in attack for the capital club and finally wants to show that he is not only a good worker for the team, but also a real goalscorer. So far, the Ivory Coast international has scored two goals this season.
Even before the training camp, manager Fredi Bobic (51) had announced an increase in performance: “He will work out luck. I’ve seen a lot of strikers explode after half a year.”
That’s why Kanga is slowly getting hot in Florida…
