Hidrocapital will demolish a nursery built on the main pipe that suffered a rupture in the La Toma sector of La Guairita, to repair it. This was reported this Friday by the mayor of Baruta, Darwin González.

“Hydrocapital started demolishing the nursery built on the main pipe in order to replace it. It is important to know that said premises did not have a patent to generate commercial activity, in addition to being illegally built on municipal land,” González said on Twitter.

“The opening of the central slab began to verify the manhole and to be able to introduce the first 12 linear meters until completing the 40 meters that are estimated to be replaced, work that will take a few days and that we will inform you of daily,” the mayor reported. .

He also explained that, of the 16 homes directly affected, 7 are in the process of being relocated. “Progressively, the relocation of the remaining houses will be carried out with their respective demolition to avoid invasions.”

He stressed that the area will be declared high risk and construction, land purchase or other actions will be prohibited.

The works will be supervised by Civil Protection Baruta. “The team will provide support in terms of risk and pre-hospital care for the staff of Hidrocapital and the families that will be evicted. We will have ambulances and trained personnel present to guarantee the necessary care in an emergency”

Finally, the mayor re-elected by the Baruta municipality stressed that PCB will also be in charge of carrying out the control and monitoring in terms of civil engineering of the works that it will carry out. Hydrocapital.
