The inhabitants of Haut-Vernet again had to face many questions. Among them, a couple, whose interrogation lasted for hours. Three for the husband, and two for his wife. According to information from BFM TV, the man of the couple is one of the last inhabitants of the village to have seen the child playing in the hamlet.
Alongside these numerous interrogations, several vehicles were again examined on Thursday. The tractor belonging to a village farmer, for example, whose son had been questioned several times by the investigators because he had a reputation for driving the agricultural machine at excessive speed, which made him “the ideal culprit”. But he was able to prove that he was not present when Emile disappeared.
