The ruling and opposition parties, which had run into extreme confrontations over the ‘complete deprivation of the prosecutor’s investigative power’ proposed by the Democratic Party, reached an agreement dramatically.

The opposition and opposition parties accepted the prosecution reform arbitration proposal proposed by National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok, but it was decided to hold a plenary session as early as the 28th.

National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok announced an arbitration plan for prosecutorial reform and urged both parties to accept it.

“I had the political belief that all activities of the National Assembly members should be conducted from the perspective of the people and the national interest as the representatives of the people.”

Contrary to expectations that the push-and-pull would continue, the arbitration bill became an agreement between the parties in just three hours.

When the People’s Power announced that they would accept it two hours later, the Democratic Party followed suit.

The DPRK’s sharp confrontation with Rep. Min Hyung-bae’s ‘disguised party’ and forced action was resolved at once with a dramatic agreement.

The Democrats adjusted the speed of ‘checking and shutting down’, and the people’s power found a compromise while maintaining the prosecution’s complementary investigative powers.

Leaders of the ruling and opposition parties signed the agreement and decided to review the bill with the goal of processing the plenary session at the earliest on the 28th.

“The great principle of separation of investigative powers and prosecution powers has been accepted this time, and then an agreement can be reached within April…”

“The National Assembly has reached an extreme confrontational aspect. Whether it is the ruling party or the opposition party, our party exists for the benefit of the people…”

Leaders of the ruling and opposition parties united and praised Chairman Park Byeong-seok’s active mediation efforts.

It is known that Chairman Park canceled his previously scheduled business trips to the United States and Canada and held at least four early morning and late night meetings with the ruling and opposition party leaders.

He also contacted and tried to persuade members of the Democratic Party’s ‘Like Association’, who are hard-lined in the ‘examination and refusal,’ and in the end threatened that if he did not follow the mediation plan, he would give the hand of the one who accepted it regardless of the ruling party.

It was evaluated that the intervention using carrots and sticks stood out as a big adult in the National Assembly.
