A sector of Highway 640 will be avoided next week due to work that will force the closure of sections.

From July 24 to 27 from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next day, highway 640 westbound will be completely closed to traffic between the A-13 and the 25th avenue exit in Saint-Eustache, the Quebec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility said in a press release.
The paving work that will take place on this section will also force the closure of the A-13 North ramp leading to the A-640 West during this period.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and take the proposed detour route in the vicinity.
“The start of this work might be postponed,” it says, in the event of unfavorable weather conditions or operational constraints.
