This action, organized by the Coordination and Support Department and the Federal Highway Police of Namur, mainly aimed at the problem linked to the movements of perpetrators in the context of robberies in homes, car and home jacking as well as the transport of narcotics. The location of the check was chosen carefully, because it is a central point of motorway traffic. This is what Commissioner Lionel Lheureux explained to RTL Info: “This brings together three main axes of Belgium. There is traffic which comes from France, and which goes up and down towards Luxembourg. has the traffic which comes from Antwerp, and which passes through Brussels to go straight down to France.
