Kyoko Saito of Hinatazaka46 will be the first solo starring TV Asahi Saturday night drama “Dropped dining table” will be broadcast from October 21st.

Saito plays Shinai Negigi, a supermarket clerk with low self-esteem who believes that she has no merit because she was raised by a toxic parent. Even after the death of her father, who was always in denial and violence, she lived with her mother, who was strongly oppressive, and her deep love, which affirmed herself for the first time and was kind to her, was the store manager. In love with, into an affair. However, when her manager’s wife’s illness worsened, she broke up with him. She suddenly fell into the depths of despair, but after thinking about it, she came up with the answer, “I want to be happy with the store manager.” In order to cheer up the store manager she loves, she begins to take unbelievable actions to cure the manager’s wife’s illness, and eventually her actions escalate. Her deep love and too pure feelings will undermine her manager’s family.
Saito, who plays Fukai, who is too pure, commented, “I heard the contents of the drama and read the original, but it was very interesting. The scripts are written by Yasuko Kuramitsu of “PICU Pediatric Intensive Care Unit” (Fuji TV), Yu Kanda of “Themis Classroom – Legal Youth White Paper” (Fuji TV), and Asato of the movie “Hyouka”. I was very happy when I heard that it was going to be made into a drama because I put my life into making it! Furthermore, when I heard that Ms. Kyoko Saito will play the main character, Fukaa, I was even more happy, but at the same time, I was worried that I should let her have an affair with her…!? I saw her in various situations, and the more I got to know her, the more attractive she was, and I thought her expressiveness was really wonderful. But that brilliance throws the lives of the people around you crazy――I think Saito-san’s deep love is a really addictive role! I’m looking forward to the completion of the drama.
