A new face will soon appear at TSG Hoffenheim. With Eduardo Quaresma from Sporting Lisbon, a highly talented central defender comes to the Kraichgau and will tackle his first stop abroad.

FT can confirm a report by ‘A Bola’ that Hoffenheim will initially loan the 20-year-old youth international for a year. In addition FT learned that TSG has secured a purchase option for Quaresma and that the obligatory medical check-up will take place shortly. The contracts should then be signed.
Quaresma was loaned to CD Tondela last season and made 25 first division and five cup appearances for the later relegated team. Despite the less than successful season, the strong defender made a lasting impression on the scouts.
