On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Kai Ever, Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! (Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi), a new promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that The premiere is scheduled for January 8, 2024 in Japanand shows fragments of the musical themes that include:
Masayoshi Oishi will perform the opening song titled “Namaramenkoi Gal”; while Asaka will perform the closing theme titled “Wow! Wow!“.
Ikada began publishing the manga through the service Shonen Jump Plus from the publisher Shueisha in September 2019, where it is still in publication. Tsubasa Natsukawa has just moved from Tokyo to Hokkaido, in the middle of winter. Without realizing the distance between cities in the country, she gets out of the taxi in the next city to her destination so she can see the surroundings of her house. But she is surprised when she finds out that the “next city” is three hours away. But she also meets a cute gyaru dosanko (born and raised in Hokkaido) named Minami Fuyuki, who braves minus 8 degree weather in the standard gyaru outfit: short skirts and bare legs.
