Firefighters received several calls on Monday afternoon about a fire near the Dynastielaan in De Panne. On the spot, the men of the fire found that it was a small fire in the dunes, as shown by our colleagues du Latest News. People in the area were advised to stay away from the smoke and residents to keep windows and doors closed near the fire.
The fire was quickly brought under control but is not yet fully extinguished. The causes of the fire are not yet known.
