JUNE 7 IN PERU WILL NOT BE A HOLIDAY

According to Peruvian legislation, when the June 7 holiday is approved in Parliament, it is the Executive that is in charge of giving the go-ahead and approving its publication, for which up to now it is expected that Dina Boluarte will approve the issuance of the norm that authorizes this new non-working day for the public and private sector.

For now, the only calendar holiday that is confirmed is June 29, the day on which the feast of Saint Peter and Saint Paul is commemorated. As recalled, this law was approved on April 28 and Dina Boluarte has 15 business days to promulgate the rule or observe it, however, she has not done both actions, so Congress approves it at her insistence.

WHEN IS THE NEXT LONG HOLIDAY IN PERU?

ABOUT HOLIDAYS

The days holidays are the days indicated by law (article 6 of DL No. 713), where the worker has the right to rest on that day and that such rest is paid.

The workers receive an ordinary remuneration that corresponds to one day of work, and it will be paid in direct proportion to the number of days actually worked, except the Labor Dayin which one day of remuneration will be paid, without any condition.

If he worker If you work on a holiday without substitute rest, you are entitled to the payment of the corresponding remuneration for the work carried out with a surcharge of 100%.
