A fire broke out at Hong Kong’s top star Lim Chung-ha’s house, causing riots and evacuation of 18 people.

According to Chinese media reports such as Hong Kong 01 on the 8th (local time), a fire broke out in a detached house located on Anderson Street in Hong Kong at 8:40 am (local time) that day, and fire engines and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.

This house, which is Lim’s home, is famous as a luxurious mansion worth HK$1.1 billion or about 180 billion won (US$180 million). A fire broke out on the second floor of the building on that day, and two fire engines were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was completely extinguished in 8 hours.

At the time of the fire, the commissioning officer was absent, and 18 people including male and female employees and the driver were evacuated, and there were no casualties. Im Cheong-ha’s housekeeper was also seen escaping with her dog.

Lim’s house is a luxurious mansion equipped with a swimming pool, gym, library, and tennis court, and it is said that Im Chung-ha’s ex-husband gave it to her in 2014, before her divorce, on her 60th birthday.

Lim Chung-ha, who gained international popularity by appearing in Hong Kong films such as ‘East West Germany’ and ‘East Invincible’, retired in 1994 with a marriage to Hong Kong wealthy Xing Liyuan, but divorced in 2018 after 24 years.
