Horrible psychodelic nightmare ‘The Chant’ story trailer released

Primematter of Kochmedia has released a new story trailer that gives a glimpse into the story of ‘The chant’, a third-person horror action-adventure game, developed by Brass Token, scheduled to be released this year.

‘The Chant’ contains strange and spiritual events that take place on Glory Island, a remote island where the spiritual community of Prismic Science is active.

The protagonist, who travels to the beautiful Glory Island for relaxation, participates in a spiritual ritual held in the community, and opens the door to another dimension full of terrible ‘things’.

‘Gloom’, a being in another dimension, feeds on people’s fear and becomes stronger, so the player must endure it while balancing the mind, body, and soul. The player can avoid Gloom unnoticed or fight back using various spirit weapons, and the objective of the game is to seal Gloom and escape from Glory Island.

Mike Skupa, Creative Director at Brass Token, the developer of The Chant, said, “The Chant blends the cult horror of the 1970s with the spiritual movement concept of the New Age to create a sense of dread in the player’s consciousness. Focused. Our first title, The Chant, is a great adventure and a challenge for us as we are a boutique studio that gives us the freedom to try new things.”

The Chant will be officially translated into Korean on the Xbox series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and will be released as a digital version at the end of this year.
