Hot air gun against weeds: 83-year-old set fire to hedge and car

Weeds caught fire right next to a hedge, the police said. The Austrian tried to put out the fire, but was unsuccessful. The flames then spread to the hedge and to a car parked next to it.

Neighbors extinguished the fire with a garden hose

Neighbors contained the fire with a garden hose, and the fire department was finally able to put it out a short time later. Nobody got hurt. It was said that there was an unknown amount of damage to the hedge and the car. The Kufstein fire department was on duty with three vehicles and 15 men.
