A little more than three months passed after the public denunciation of Lucas Welcome to Jey Mammón. Since then, the comedian has not only been at the center of the controversy, but has also been separated from his work projects.
The Telefe authorities did not take long to announce the retirement of Jey from La peña del Morfi, the cycle that he hosted on that channel after the death of Gerado Rozín. However, in the last few hours the news broke that the driver was replaced in a movie by another actor through Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The one chosen to take Jey’s place was Ronnie Arias and the output is called 29 and a half hours. As it was learned, the film had finished recording a few days before the scandal between Benvenuto and Jey broke out.
According to the journalist Paula Varela in show partners (El Tres), “in order not to record all the scenes again, they resorted to artificial intelligence and, in this case, they put the face of Ronnie Arias on him.”
In that same sense, Arias clarified: “I don’t replace Jey Mammon. I do the character that Jey Mammón did. Work was done, scenes were rewritten again, there are parts that are made by artificial intelligence, there are parts that are made with special effects, imagine there were times when the whole team couldn’t get together.
