“There is undoubtedly a lack of narrative on the reason for acting for the climate”, recently dropped Dominique Seux, editorial writer for Les Echos, in his daily column on France Inter. Indeed, unlike a law that reduces speed to reduce the number of road deaths, the reasons for legislating or committing to the environment appear remote or abstract. To circumvent this obstacle and call for action, the cultural sector is mobilizing.

More and more environmental activists believe that the “cultural struggle” is becoming the “mother of all battles”. Concretely, museums, production companies, music festivals are committed to bringing out new stories and making desirable a way of life compatible with the ecological emergency.
