Caio Fernandez, the star of Sharjah (the King), praised his teammates in an interview he had with the Brazilian newspaper “Lancy”.
Fernandez opened his speech, stressing, “The king has a wonderful group of players. Since the beginning of the current 2022-2023 season, we have great ambitions to compete with Sharjah for all titles, and I see that the team is ready to achieve this goal.”
And the owner of the number 7 shirt explained, “We qualified for the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank semi-finals, and we are going well in the ADNOC Professional League competition, while we started the season by achieving the title of the President’s Cup for the last season’s edition.”
Fernandez continued, “We will seek to preserve the ‘most valuable cups’ in the current season, and we will also compete in the UAE Super Cup, in addition to our desire to complete our good results in the league and the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup.”
The 28-year-old stressed, “The king plays all tournaments with the same interest and great focus.”
And on how to increase the team’s yield of titles in the current season, Fernandez replied, “We must play every match as if it were a championship final, as the season is witnessing strong competition from many clubs, and crowning titles, especially the league, will require great work.”
