The AFIP maintains a regime of refunds for consumers that they carry out purchases in butcher shops with a debit card.
In parallel, the National Government announced days ago the Buy without VAT program that refunds the tax on the purchase of basic basket products.
As detailed by the AFIP on its website, the refund when buying in butcher shops with debit will be valid until December 31 and offers a deferral in the payment of tax obligations to businesses participating in the program.
The benefit consists of a refund of 10% of the amount of the operation carried out in establishments dedicated to the marketing of beef. Have a refund limit of up to 2 thousand pesos monthly.
In this way, financial entities must credit the sum in the accounts of the final consumers to the four days after the operation was completed. The detail must appear in the account summary, for this the organization created the “Registry of Butcher Shops”.
Refund when purchasing with debit in butcher shops
The regime of AFIP refunds grants to businesses registered in the regime three months grace period for VAT payment or the tax component of the monotax in cases where they are adhered to the simplified regime.
Consumers can access the list of registered businesses on the AFIP website, as well as that of the financial entities that join the regime.
