The Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, published a message to his fans through his accounts on social media, in which he thanked them for their support throughout the season, stressing that he is eager for the new season and that he is ready to give up all the awards he won during the current season in order to repeat the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
I cannot express in words how much we wanted to bring that trophy back to Liverpool but in the end we couldn’t. I cannot thank the fans enough for your support. It has been a very long season but a part of me wishes the next one starts again tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/6ECyIL0AHN

Salah was crowned with two Golden Boot awards as the Premier League’s top scorer and more than one assist during the season, and he also won the Premier League Player of the Year award, voted by fans and critics.
Salah said: Being chosen as the best player by fans and journalists during the same season is a special thing that I will never forget.
Being recognised by the fans and by the sports journalists in the same season is something special that I will never forget. I would however give all those personal awards up for a chance at replaying that final, but that is not how football works. pic.twitter.com/vOoXZgl9MK
