How is that? Al Hilal accused of making the Egyptian league stronger than Saudi Arabia

The Egyptian League is currently burning with a three-way competition for its title

Sports critic Adel Al-Mardi issued a clear warning to Saudi football officials against the progress of the Egyptian League and its hijacking of the spotlight from its Saudi counterpart in the coming seasons, due to Zamalek’s restoration of its level and its ability to compete with its fellow Al-Ahly.

Al-Mardi made a clear accusation to Al-Hilal of causing this through his domination of the championships and his role in the absence of competition for titles in the Saudi League, due to his financial stability and the presence of supporters who give him millions annually, unlike other clubs that are mired in debt.

Al-Hilal succeeded in winning the Saudi League for the third time in a row and the fourth in the last five years, after its victory in a fierce struggle with Al-Ittihad that lasted until the last moments and witnessed an amazing remontada from the leader.

The Al-Asimi Club enjoys great financial stability through the tremendous support provided to it by Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal and other supporters, in addition to huge sponsorship contracts and commercial partnerships with several parties, which allows the club to make great deals, whether on the level of local or foreign players.

Al-Mardi talked about this, saying on Twitter, “It seems that the Egyptian League will steal the spotlight to become the strongest Arab League after the renewal of the very interesting and strong competition between the two poles.”

He added, “In our league, where did the big boys go!! One club grabs the championships and snatches stars from all its competitors, and it has a billion budget and zero debts!!”

It is noteworthy that Al Hilal succeeded during the last winter transfer market in stripping Al Ittihad of its two stars Saud Abdul Hamid and Abdul Ilah Al Maliki by signing with them after they entered the free period of their contracts, and he later bought the remaining period in the contract from Al-Jeddawi Club.

Al-Hilal never stopped and signed the league’s top scorer, Odion Ighalo, from the youth, and also included Al-Ahly goalkeeper Mohamed Al-Owais and the Brazilian Michael, and most of these players played a major role in resolving the conflict in his favor against Al-Ittihad.
