GoodsForecast was created in 2013 by Alexander Tcherepnin, Andrey Lisitsa, Sergey Kotik, and Daniil Kanevsky, mathematicians from the Computing Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Moscow State University. GoodsForecast operates in the predictive analytics segment for supply chain planning in manufacturing and retail. Its product line automates the planning of purchases and production load, assortment management and pricing, analyzes lost sales due to the lack of goods in warehouses and store shelves, predicts the effect of marketing campaigns.
