How the band Kreisky came to perform at “Tatort”.

Thomas Weingartner and Stefan Hafner came up with the idea when they were writing the screenplay for the current Tatort episode “What is that for a world”: They had heard the Kreisky band at a concert and were enthusiastic regarding the music. That’s why they didn’t just want to use Kreisky songs in “Tatort”, says band co-founder Franz Adrian Wenzl: “They also wrote us into the script.” When asking regarding the song rights, the conversation turned to the film music.
