“The surnames and first names have been removed as well as the postal codes, but there is still a lot of information: address (street number and name), date of birth, household composition and income, amounts and types of benefits received (RSA, APL, disabled adult allowance, etc.), in total, no less than 181 pieces of data per beneficiary were revealed”, specifies Radio France in its article.
Access to its data was not restricted to agents trained in March 2021, but available to the general public by clicking on a zip file. CAF de Gironde will inform the 10,204 beneficiaries concerned and has opened an internal investigation.
