How to add a web app to the Mac Dock

O macOS Sonoma 14 brought several new features and improvements for users, such as interactive widgets and the possibility of inserting them anywhere on the Table (Desktop).

Another new feature of the operating system that powers Macs was the possibility of including so-called web apps directly into Dock of the system and can be opened as a common application.

See how to do it! ????‍????

First, open Safari and the website/service you want to use as a web app. Then go to File » Add to Dock… in the menu bar.

Edit the name of the web app (which is optional), change its icon if you want and click “Add” so that it is effectively placed in your Dock.

The cool thing is that it also works with other native features of the system, such as Mission Control and the Visual Organizer (Stage Manager).

When opening the new web app from the Dock, it “loses” some elements such as the Safari toolbar/navigation, literally behaving like an independent app.

Very cool, don’t you think?! ????
