The PC gaming screen has its own particularities that differ from other types of screen. PC screens can be classified into three different categories:

What criteria should you take into account when choosing your gaming screen?
Before you decide on a PC gaming screen model, there is no question of letting yourself be guided by chance. Several characteristics must be taken into account to find the gaming screen best suited to your needs.
Screen size
The size of a PC gaming screen is important for gaming comfort. Currently, the minimum size is 24 inches, or 61 cm. Below this format, the risk would be to miss important details in the game.

The resolution
Another criterion to take into account: resolution. The more pixels there are, the more qualitative and precise the image will be. It offers excellent contrast (both superior to TN and IPS) as well as a relatively low response time with wider viewing angles, which also makes it attractive.
Response time
Response time refers to the delay it takes for the screen to move from one image to another. It is calculated by the speed at which a pixel is capable of displaying a change from black/white, or from one shade of gray to another in milliseconds.
Concretely, the lower the response time, the less blurry the image will be. This responsiveness criterion can directly impact the gaming experience. Most panels go down to 0.5 milliseconds for TN models. IPS and VA models typically go down to 1 millisecond.
The refresh rate
To give the impression of movement on the screen, it must display still images one after the other very quickly. To make this illusion even more realistic, the screen refreshes the image several times in one second: this is the refresh rate. The higher it is, the smoother the screen displays images. The good compromise for optimal visual comfort would be a 144 hertz screen.
